Castle Gate technique

Πρόσφατα έκανα αυτό το μίνι βιβλίο …

Recently I completed this minibook …

Αναρωτηθείκατε πολλές για την πόρτα …

Και είπα να σας δείξω πως το έκανα ….

This is how I made the Castle Gate:

Χρησιμοποίησα Crackle Paint του Tim Holtz, και το άπλωσα σε χαρτί που το είχα διπλώσει στη μέρα … αφού περίμενα να στεγνώσει λίγο το σφράγισα με σφραγίδα που κάνει τα νερά του ξύλου … Η σφραγίδα είναι της Unity Stamps Co.

I used Tim Holtz’s Crackle Paint and spread it on a piece of cardstock folded in half … after waiting for a few minutes [it starts drying up at the edges] I stamped it with a wood grain stamp … I used Unity Grainy Background.

 

Το αφήσα να στεγνώσει, και μετά το πέρασα με λίγο Distress ink πάλι του Tim Holtz.

I let it dry [you can use a heat gun to hurry up the process], and I inked it with Distress Ink.

Η τελευταία πινελιά … ενα πολύ μικρό πριτζίνι για πόμολό ….

As a final touch, mini brads for the door handles.

Κόλησα τις δύο ακρες, και το τοποθέτησα κάτω από το εξώφυλλο.

I stuck the two folds together and placed it under the door!
